Alerts

An alert is an automatic notification triggered by specific events or conditions—such as a tracker starting to move, exceeding a speed limit, or entering or exiting a defined geographic boundary (geofence). Alerts help users stay informed in real-time about critical activities and behaviors.

With customizable alert settings, users can choose which types of alerts they want to receive, set threshold values for triggering each alert, and select who should be notified—whether internal users or external recipients. Notifications can be delivered through various channels, including email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messages.

Administrators can configure internal users to receive specific alerts and decide whether those users are allowed to override the default notification channels. This ensures the right people receive timely, relevant alerts through their preferred communication method.
